I don’t really know why, but it must be to fulfill my “secret” dream.
I blog because I enjoy writing, love reading, and hope to one day be able to make a living doing it.
I blog as an extension of my travel journal; to share my experiences with others. I’m also using it to help develop my writing skills. I also do it in order to share my sense of humor with a wider audience than I normally have access to and that feels good.
I’m not seeing the new logo, it looks like the one that you’ve had for a while.
I blog so I can share my knowledge with my readers, and learn from them too. I also blog to increase my web presence so-to-speak.
I do it for the fun, that’s my game
People who blog for money and fortune sooner or later end up failing.
I would be lying if I said that I blog for nothing!
To be frank the initial idea was to become a $10K pm blogger…
However, as the blogging became regular I was amazed at the way which a bunch of people seek information (though plenty is available on the net). Actually I converse with them via mail and clarify the issues etc. So it’s a lot of fun.
So… making money, networking, helping each other by writing about what I know… etc are the goals for me.
Cheers,
Ajith
PS: $10K dream is still on and I will get there sometime
I blog because… all of the above.
Anyone else here that blog because of all the reasons listed above?
Lucas - Ah, the “secret” dream, do share it with us
Adam - Nice and simple
Graham - Hehe, you might have seen the new logo before, but after updating it, I never told my feed readers about it
Danny - Increasing you web presence, that’s a good one
Ikki - That’s true, however blogging and starting a business with the intention of making money are two different things in my opinion.
Ajith - 10K/Month is a very realistic goal, not a dream… good luck!
Sly - Me too!
I blog to find my hidden talent
I blog because I want to share with people the techniques that make me money online, and because I love the networking and interacting with other Internet marketers and lastly, to make money online!!
Thanks,
JR
HI Rajaie - Why do I blog? Because I’m now addicted to it. I could write a book on all the reasons, but the best part of blogging is the community that forms around blogs.
Well, why do i blog? For one, blogging improves my writing, and possibly communication skills. It can also widen my circle of friends.
I also like to blog because I love to share my thoughts with people.
I do it because its the right thing
*cough*
I do it for glory and fame !! ( we all do)
I don’t mean to seem over done here, but I seem to blog for all of those reasons.
I mainly blog for fun and to learn, but with that comes the money and the connections and all the rest of it.
I blog because I used to have a good grammar before, now grammar my turn bad!
Haha… that was a good one Melvin
I blog to create a passive income and pay the bills
the logo looks good with the shades merged
I blog because I enjoy doing it.Its like an entertainment for me.Anyway good post and logo too.
I blog because I enjoy it, but I also aim at creating a reputation and a trust from blogging that will help me successfully launch new products and services in relation to my blog.
Sid - Nice one, I’m sure many others blog for the same reason
Barbara - Hehe, as are we all… By the way, you just gave me an awesome idea for a domain name!
Wong - Sweet
Sabeur - Glory and fame, who doesn’t mind those every once in a while?
Melvin - Don’t worry about it mate, your grammar is great! (Well, at least not any worse than John Chow’s)
Ajith -
Yes, it was
ZK - I’m glad you commented on the new logo, it took me just a few minutes to cook up
Harish - Entertainment, that’s a very fine purpose. Just make sure you don’t push yourself too hard, then it will seem like work
Tom - Good luck with that, mate
For fun and to pass the time. To network and to make friends. I make no friends on my niche sites, and probably wouldn’t want to anyways… but on my blog, I’ve made thousands.
i do all of them
Jason - Hehe, that’s what I don’t like about site flipping - you can’t make many friends
narendra.s.v - Sweet
Honestly, I think it’s all of the above for me.
Most of the bloggers either do it for passion or to pay bills as passive income
i blog because i love doing it and i love writing and being part of the community.. even though i’m somewhat new to this one..
By the way, blogging has helped me with my writing skills. It helped me write my school papers.
Mark Cuda -
I guess I got all the points covered
ZK - Yup, those are the two mains reasons
Kahthan - Don’t worry, every blogger was once a new kid on the block
Sly - I also noticed that my writing skills have improved, let’s just hope my English teacher feels the same way!
I started blogging with the aim of becoming the next John Chow. Well, I did not fulfill that aim, but on the other hand, I learnt a lot of things, make good friends and enjoyed it.
Ganesh - You’ll get there someday
And hey! It’s like you said, you had fun and made new friends.
Ganesh u enjoyed blogging .. thats the important thing buddy … and good luck for ur aim
Puneet - Exactly
i blog because of all the reasons you said above, yo did great job rajaie i can’t imagine any more reasons
but the most important reasons for me are blogging to enjoy giving people something, and learning new things
I admit it! I blog because of money but as I go along the friends I found online is what keeps me coming back ‘online’
Now I know why do you blog. If you’ll ask me, I blog because I want to earn money online but also share my thoughts and opinions with others.
I blog because it sure beats going out and knocking off convenient stores and ending up back in prison.
well, I blog because I want to fill my time with a fun way that gives me a side cash.
Fortune & Fun. Mainly for the money but specifically because it’s a way of making money that I will enjoy while I am doing it, if that makes sense
I will blog because I want:
1. To connect with people with related interests.
2. My blog to become my real presence on the net, not only a FB or MS profile!
3. To improve my writing skills and be a better communicator.
4. To make a living on the internet in the future, have fun and enjoy the journey!
I blog for one reason…to broaden my knowledge in the area of my interest, that is Domains. I also like imparting knowledge to my fellow readers and hope to gain some valuable information via their comments.
