Vrooom! Theme Released
Yes, I know it’s been ages since my last post, but all I ask from you guys is to bear with me. A lot has been going on these past few days… I just came back from vacation, school will start on Saturday, and my PayPal account was closed today (Who’s up for free advertising?!).
But enough with my problems for now, guess what I just received in my inbox? An Email from The WordPress.org Themes Team notifying me that my latest theme has been approved and is ready for download!
So say hello to the wonderful Vrooom! theme
To be honest, I think that this is the best theme I have created to-date (you decide). Be sure to check out my other WordPress themes if this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for.
Remember, if you ever want to see any specific type of theme/s created, just Email me and I will see if I can cook something up. As usual, please report and bugs or other annoying roadblocks you discover in my theme. Thanks.

i like the simplicity… i would suggest that you add three bottom blocks… i really like them down there and since it’s minimal that on the bottom wouldn’t hurt i guess… nice one!
stratosg – Those are pretty hard to add, to be honest (well, at least for me they are).
But they are something I have had in mind for a while and will definitely add them to my next theme.

Swastik – I’m not really a fan of black, it’s just that black themes are the easiest to make!
The theme is really simple and neat, I like that. But, I prefer themes with a white background.
Ganesh – I could easily change the background. If you really want me to, you can chat with me on MSN and I can give you a version of this theme with a white background.
hey man, i really like your theme. i have decided to use it on my new website. anyway, i was wondering a couple things like when i looked at my site in my old ie browser a couple things were messed up. the sidebar on the left was down at the bottom and the grab our feed image had a light blue background. just wondering if this was optimized for firefox? it looks fine in firefox and im downloading a new version of Internet explorer, i assume it will run fine. i have a Sanskrit name, its parmesh. i never goi by it but i have had it since i was a kid. one of my best friends names is rajiv… anyway take care and thanks again for the really cool theme. i have decided to start working on my first theme.
IWT – Hey, thanks for telling me about the bug. To be honest, I don’t think it’s worth making my theme work in older browsers, seeing as to how many little people use them anymore.

Great theme bud. But I didn’t know you had to have themes approved by wordpress. What do they check for?

Adam – You only need your theme to be approved by WordPress if you are submitting it to that official theme site.

I will be trying to make a new one as soon as possible, but for now, I can only focus on promoting the blog and writing new posts.

Nice theme! It seems that you are getting better and better at coding Wordpress themes
Anyways, as someone else already said, your theme breaks on IE6. The left sidebar (meta, search box, etc) is placed at the bottom. I think that by adjusting its width just a few pixels will do the job
There’s a large portion of Windows users that are still on IE6 so you should consider checking this.

Have you ever heard of a program called Multiple-IE? It will allow you to run IE6 and IE7 at the same time. IE6 is installed as a stand-alone program so it won’t affect your settings.

very nice theme indeed man, there are few programs that set up virtual environments for multiple browsers, google around your bound to find a free one.

Lately it seems like everyone feels they have to include the block of 125 x 125 ads, I would just like to remind you all this is not the case.

Finding that the alignment is left in Firefox, and centered in IE. I’m also finding that the titles of the widgets are too far right in IE, but correctly aligned in Firefox. Great theme otherwise! No problems besides those two. Any fixes?

I like the feel of this theme. Right now it’s in my top 3 shortlist for my site that I just started. It’s almost what I’m looking for…
Would you consider Harley-izing it?I’m looking for something with more of an “on the open road on a bad-*ss motorcycle” feel. I think you’ve got the bassis for a really cool biker theme. Either way, well done and keep up the good work. I’m looking forward to the previously mentioned fixes (no pressure).

The name of this theme is quite exciting, and it may just spread based on that fact.the way it is laid out might allow someone to jump-start their website in a quicker fashion.
Very nice and elegant theme! I would suggest improving the footer a little bit to provide some more information but good work!
