Think Ahead Before It’s Too Late

You might have noticed that ever since I started this blog, my posting frequency has been similar to that of a snail. I admit that coming up with a new post every day turned out much more difficult than I had predicted, but that isn’t why I’ve been slacking off. The main reason was starting my blog just a couple of days before exams, which turned out to be a huge mistake.

If you have ever had your own blog, then you would know how time consuming and demanding it can be. You have to worry about writing new posts, fixing bugs in the design, promoting it, and keeping up with your daily life! Having to deal with all those things will definitely cause you a ton of stress and keep you distracted throughout the day.

What I’m trying to say, is that failing to think ahead, may be one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made and has caused me a lot of stress lately. If I had thought about all the things that needed to be taken care of, then I’m sure I would’ve postponed the launch till after my exams.

So instead of doing whatever I felt like, whenever I felt like, I should have made a plan and weighed the pros and cons then decided on what to do. Think before you act.

Maybe those are just pitiful excuses as to why I’m not posting very often, and the real reason is that I’m just a fat lump of laziness ;-) Whatever the reason, I assure you that from now on, everything you see on this blog will blow you away!

Once again, I apologize for not being able to update very often.

  1. I think it’s more about decision making. We’re almost on the same boat. When I have started this blog I was not really feeling well and was experiencing nausea, headaches, count em. Then I was hospitalized for almost a week so my blog didn;t start well. I think us, being students have really need to learn a lot.

btw, i may not read this blog anymore bcoz i dont want to get blown away.. ;-) joking…

  2. Hehe.. don’t worry!! I am sure you will post loads more in the future.Whenever I get a idea,I just mail them to my own email ID or save them as drafts which helps me write 2-3 posts everyday with ease..

@Melvin, I agree with you, we have a lot to learn :D And don’t worry, I won’t blow too hard.

@Rockstar Sid, I have also been keeping my ideas stored up for the times I’m feeling a bit dry. Just two more exams left, and I’m free!

@Siddharth, I’ve been using StumbleUpon for a couple of weeks, and I’ve found some great sites using it :D

  6. Totally agree, its harder for people with personal blogs … not sure wot to write about. Content is hard to come up with and one that interests people is even harder

    good luck.

@Sabeur, I think it’s easier for people with personal blogs since they can write about anything they feel like it.
