How to Legally Eliminate Credit Card Debt
![]() |
Things haven’t been going too well for the economy these past few months (which is why some people want to learn to make money for free and get real internet jobs). Due to the recession, there has been a shortage of jobs and many businesses (very, very large ones—Chrysler ring a bell?) have even filed for bankruptcy. With all that happening, hundreds of thousands of people are finding it extremely difficult to simply put food on their table and have a roof over their heads, let alone afford the regular luxuries so many of us are used to. For some, the obvious answer to this problem is credit cards, but the truth is, this supposed solution actually leads to much more harm that good. Many people don’t know that there are ways to legally eliminate credit card debt, and so they continue using credit cards to afford the luxury life they’ve always been used to. And once they start spending, there’s no telling as to when they’ll be able to stop, since from them onward, things can not go anywhere but downhill. So the months pass, and their dept increases, making it even more difficult for them to find a legal way to eliminate their credit card dept.
What some people don’t know, though, is that there are in fact a few methods to legally eliminate your credit card debt for good! The first and best way to eliminate your credit card dept legally is pretty obvious, even though it may not seem so for many people….stop using your credit card! Yes, I know how simple that sounds, but trust me, it works. The more you use it, the more you’re damaging your chances to ever pay out your dept. So, from now on, starting from today, set a limit for yourself that you will NOT pass. Say, $100/month only. If you honestly can’t do that, then I would really suggest you cut up your credit cards for good.
The other option for you is to go for a free credit card consultation if you have multiple credit cards or more than one loan payment, this is a great way to combine all your debt(s) onto a single credit card. The reason credit card consultation is so popular, is that it makes it much easier for you to pay back to your debts since you only need to focus on making one payment every month instead of going around and making individual payments for each credit card you use. Using this option, you will easily pay off your credit card debts in no time at all! Just remember that you should always try and pay back as much as possible every month, since the less you pay, the higher and higher your interest will become after some time. The final tip I have on how to legally eliminate credit card dept is to try and examine the areas in your life where you can cut back on spending to use that money to pay your monthly credit card payments.
To sum it up, if you really want to legally eliminate your credit card debt, you have to understand the reasons you ended up being in dept in the first place and then work on those areas. The most important thing you should always remember is that you should only buy what you can afford, if you know you won’t be able to pay off something you’re planning to buy with your credit card, then you really shouldn’t buy it. Other than that, your credit card should only be used in case of emergencies. Just try and set aside as much cash as possible every month to pay off your credit card dept as soon as possible. Remember, credit cards didn’t always control your life, now it’s time for you to take the reigns and start to legally eliminate your credit card debt once and for all.

Hi Rajaie,
I would like to say that last point you made is most valuable for clearance of debt, primarily because it gets you thinking in solution mode than just doing superficial things that can only be saving grace for people in debt.
However, there are couple of other suggestions like transfer your existing high interest loan to new low interest loan & all. I hope it gives some positive note.
Better dont get stuck with credit card debt…

Great article, I have spoken to someone about this kind of thing before and found out they ask that you still have credit on the card you want to eliminate for the $900 dollars upfront fee, I found this a little odd.
Well.. YOU CAN ELIMINATE – but unless you hit the lottery it’s a slowwww task. It’s simple to eliminate – take the credit card with the highest interest rate and PAY THAT off FIRST.. Then take the amount that you were paying on that card monthly and roll it into the card with the NEXT highest interest rate and SO forth!
I would pay off the smallest debt first as it will disappear quicker then you take that money that you no longer pay on that debt and roll it into the next. I know most say to pay off the highest intrest debts first, but by paying off the smallest debt first you can actually see victory happening. Gives you motivation to keep going.
