Make Money Online

Find Out How I Made $4,077.90 In One Day (and How You Can Too)

Hey guys, you wouldn’t believe what I happened to stumble upon a few days ago. A new method to make money online that isn’t AdSense, affiliate marketing, blog flipping, or any of those other saturated markets.

What I’m about to reveal to you will change your life forever.

Don’t believe me? Here’s a screenshot of yesterday’s earnings:

paypalproof

Guess what? I’m going to be selling only 50 10 more copies of my eBook containing the exact secrets that will make you hundreds of thousands of dollars, all this for the one-time payment of $47.

———

Okay, hopefully by now you’ve found out that the above was all a joke. But wait, didn’t I have a screenshot to prove it? How could I be lying?

The truth is, it actually took me less than five minutes to cook up that photo using my favorite Firefox plugin. All I had to do was edit the values with Firebug and then use the PayPal Fee Caculator to make the PayPal fee value look legit. Then I just took a screenshot, blacked out the “secret information” and saved it to my hard drive!

I could also have easily edited my PayPal history to show that I had received thousands of dollars worth of sales from my $47 eBook.

What I’m trying to say, is, the next time you’re about to fork out a couple of hundred on some eBook promising you millions, think again. The same goes for those planning to buy a website, don’t just settle for PayPal screenshots, ask for videos or remote access to a computer to verify the screenshots.

I’m not telling you to be paranoid when buying a $9.99 eBook or a $50 website, but when things start going into the mid $xxx then you should at least try your best to make sure you’re not sending your money down the drain.

Screenshots can be faked, do your best to make sure you’re not another victim of those damned scammers.

I hope I didn’t give any of you a bunch of evil ideas to play around with, I wouldn’t wanna see some newbie scammed because of this post, alright?

  1. Excellent article Rajaie!

There are literally thousands of people who do these type of dirty tricks. And people fall in their trap.

A tool like camwii comes handy here :D

Swastik – There’s also CamStudio I believe, anything that shows you logging in your account should do the job

  3. Yeah I thought about that.. wasn’t too sure.

BTW, As popular as your blog is, this is gonna get some evil minds working

  4. by Rajaie AlKorani at 11:27 pm on 05/12/08

I’m sure some are already planning all the evil deeds there about to commit!

  5. Wow that was great Rajaie. Thanks for that post, I mean I assumed it could be done, but you just proved how easy it was. I read the first paragraph and I was like o man, another blogger just got greedy, and now they are going to try and scam us into buying their stuff. Thanks for sharing this, I have learned my lesson. Don’t fall for fake screenshots, and don’t stop reading a post half way through.

  6. by Rajaie AlKorani at 11:49 pm on 05/12/08

^^ I was afraid some readers might stop reading the post half-way through.

And don’t worry, I’m not going to try sell you some overhyped and overpriced product, at least not yet…. ;)

  7. Lol well I learned my lesson.

And thanks, that’s a relief. I’ll give you three months lol, you’ll get greedy one day. All MMO bloggers do, it’s just the ones who succeed that keep blogging. The other’s go out because of the embarrassment.

So what do you think of the sales of theuniversitykid and slyvisions? Do you think they’ll both sell for what they are asking?

  8. by Rajaie AlKorani at 12:12 am on 06/12/08

Hehe, who said I’m not greedy already?

About the sales, I’ll be writing a blog post about this flipping frenzy (great name for flipping eBook) happening all around the place very soon.

  9. @ Howtoblog – Though you’ve asked the question to Rajaie, I’ll like to put my own views on it. I don’t know about Slyvisions, but I’ll comment on TUK.

TUK is earning $500-$1000 a month, take an average of $750. Plus the brand name itself is quite valuable. The content on the blog and readerbase also account for something. The blog can be used as a perfect launching pad for products that a prospect buyer launches.

Plus, as stated in the auction, Jason is including BP as well if it gets the BIN. So yeah, I think it is worth the BIN, if not more. It’ll be an awesome investment for whosoever buys it. I wish Jason best of luck with the auction, and am really hopeful for a BIN! :)

One won’t find a more down-to-earth MMO blogger than him.

    Cheers,
    Swastik

  10. Everyone knows abut these scam methods used by greedy people to make money. You took a bold step and blogged about it to increase public awareness.
    Excellent!
Guess what, some of these scammers might be followers of Rajaietalks. We can see them running for cover now :p

  11. These day there are so many scammers….

    Careful guys.

  12. With all due respect, this kind of article is both educational and dangerous to newbies in much the same way, faking subscriber count is. More and more noobs are faking them if you look hard enough.

I know your intention is good, Rajaie, no doubt about it. I’m just stating my opinions. To those would-be fakers, all I can say is that the blogosphere is a small world, don’t lose your credibility this way.

    Yan

  13. Hi Rajaie ,

Glad that you made so much (Fake) but what I am unable to understand is from which country did you get the money. Was it UAE or US if this was from US or Europe then the recieved amount should have been $4035.90

  14. Hey I don’t know much about people scamming like this. Awesome post Rajaie. Thanks for telling me about the scammers. I never believed that there are scammers like that one.

  15. by Rajaie AlKorani at 2:02 pm on 06/12/08

Swastik – I’m going with you on this one, TUK is definitely worth the BIN if not more, it’s just a matter of time until someone comes buy and BINs it.

Forsaken – Haha, I just hope nobody will use this post to scam anyone!

Shawal – I actually wonder if there are some people that scam others for a living…

Yan – I totally understand, but I just added the screenshot and steps to show everyone how easy it was to fake a screenshot so they would be more careful in the future.

It’s kind of the same concept with teaching others how to fake their subscriber count (and how to detect a faked one). Everything can be used for evil and good, it’s up to you :)

Ravi – I think it was from US, although I might have chosen India. Not sure really, but scammers will be able to convince you either way.

Harish – Glad it helped you out, just remember to always think before you act.

  16. Some other ways to do this:
    http://www.letssermo.com/?p=34

  17. I thought u really earned 4000$ in a single day :o

  18. There are MANY ways to fake or alter things used for sales and metrics for sites.

    Forewarned is forearmed!

Cool info man, I have never actually used firebug for such a purpose :p

  19. by Rajaie AlKorani at 6:15 pm on 06/12/08

    Sid – I wish.

Donace – Haha, I could also use Firebug to show that my website got 27,342,054 visitors in one day. Now that I think about, basically anything on a webpage can be changed…

  20. If you continued with this one, without revieling that it was a joke, you could have easily made the money mentined :D people are desperate these days on making money online and sometimes they do some really stupid stuff…. nice one ;)

  21. by Rajaie AlKorani at 7:43 pm on 06/12/08

Farrhad – I had know about that way a while ago, but you can’t copy table rows (PayPal history) with that method.

stratosg – I’m sure it could be used to make a quick buck, but scammers are always revealed ;)

  22. was about to say ur a scammer … but good article lol

  23. Screenshots can be faked but not all are. It takes a while to tell the truth from the lies. I know for a fact that these types of numbers are possible. I have made up to $800 off of one affiliate product in one day. Line up five of those and you have the number in your post.

  24. I really made this money and i am planning an ebook with my secret :)

  25. Excellent post, Rajaie.

But this post is bound to get some evil minds working on evil ideas.

  26. by Rajaie AlKorani at 11:10 am on 07/12/08

Sabeur – nah, I’m way too cool for that

ZK – hehe, sure, I’ll be sure to check it out :P

Ganesh – well, yeah, but I can’t really control what people do with it, so…

  27. by Rajaie AlKorani at 11:23 am on 07/12/08

Stephan Miller – Of course those numbers are possible, but sometimes things they may seem a bit unrealistic. By the way, mind giving me the affiliate product you were promoting ;)

  28. Excellent stuff!

You had me almost convinced until you mentioned the eBook part. Than I was like what…wait a minute :P .

Interesting article though, you bring up a good point. You should be spending your money wisely online. It’s hard to know what to buy and what not though. I always do a little bit of research before I go out and buy something.

  29. by Rajaie AlKorani at 10:54 pm on 07/12/08

Rob – To be honest, searching for eBook reviews doesn’t help that much since you’ll probably just end up with tons of site promoting the eBook. Just use common sense and you’ll be fine.

If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is.

  30. Wow! thanks for sharing this fine piece of information. No longer will I just look at “paypal” screenshots!! Keep up the great work!

  31. Awesome post, finally all those ext ream believers of “make $4,000 a day” books can stop thinking about them.

  32. Thanks for that, Rajaie. I can’t believe I havent’ thought of that before. Lucky I dont buy too many things online, especially ebooks. Although, if you did have one…hmmm ;)

  33. I love the way of presentation. Excellent post :)

  34. Now you have one more fan. It’s me, sure !!

    Congras. !

    Dinh Trung

  35. lol, i was shocked..
why anybody would sell 4k/day secrets for $40  – the first sign of scam.

    Nice article.

  36. wow that is really eye opening for many users. i would like to add here that if he is confident of earning by that technique than what is the need of making e-book and selling it to others? he can just write a post about that technique as nobody is going to take his income.

  37. I don’t believe 90% of such things out there, although nice work to bring this in front of the newbies!

  38. Do you know what….. I did find one that actually made me money! Not in the 100’s…. yet. $7 a pop. The money does do straight into your paypal account…

  39. Still hard to believe, so better not to believe at all until it happens to oneself.

  40. When it’s about making money overnight people really scramble about it. :) . You put a good twist on this post.

  41. I tried this and it was so easy to make one. Thanks for the warning…I hate such ebooks.

  42. LOL…. what a trick! So that’s what we call, “we have a chance to write our own check” – literally.

  43. Very funny! That’s exactly how they do it too.. Man I thought you sold out and was so disappointed until I got to the third paragraph, nice to see your still playing fair lol..

  44. Excellent, but what program do you join… please share

  45. There are actually other ways to do this as well (javascript code that turns any web page to an editable document). It is definitely something that someone should consider when they are reading these long sales pages.

Personally, I think nothing does better than social proof. The only problem is the affiliates that clog up the organic search with fake reviews and what not.

  46. I admit that someone can get a pretty sum of money per a day having done great job and paid much efforts, the situation has developed into the one ready to bring fruits. But the naive think they will get fruits every day till the end of their lives just having put only one seed into the soil.

  47. Thanks for revealing the information. This is the reason why I not buy any digital products in internet marketing niche. Most of them just want to rip off.

  48. There are many scammers on the Internet…. and the sad things is that people get cheated again and again..

  49. LOL Why dont you post something like this: http://mb16.com/clickbank.html the guy claims he made 1 million in a day on clickbank…
    Cool stuff

  50. lol, so many scam nowadays …

  51. Another great article, very true about the scams! I’ll just have to find another way to make $4,077.90 today!

  52. Few things in my mind regarding this post:

When I saw the post title – I am curious about the post and thought that this blog and the owner is a scamer.

When I visit the post – Ahhh, boom it hit me. I was fooled. But I am fooled at the same time I had been educated.

So my conclusion is, this is a very nice informative, education, eye catchy post. Good job Rajaie.

  53. Hi Rajaie,

Your blog entry’s title certainly galvanized my attention. Curious as to how to how you purportedly made so much money, I learned perhaps how not to lose so much money. Thanks so much for bringing this type of deception to our attention.

It never ceases to amaze me how business folks can do this (i.e., blatantly lie and cheat) without any semblance of conscience. Financial success ultimately means nothing if it is gained by taking advantage of others through deceit.

    Best Regards,
    Andy Lax

  54. Okay..that is funny

  55. lol, Its so funny. Hardworking on one foto, but result!!

  56. Thanks for sharing this. Unfortunately scams are very much a concern on the net!

  57. That was great! All these sales pages all look the same. It’s the same BS over and over again.

  58. lol, I actually thought it was for real when I read the title. Good work!

  59. hahaha! I knew there’s a catch in all these miraculous “earn-a-thousand-in-an-hour” ebooks. Nobody would share a secret if they knew how to earn money so quickly!

  60. Ideas ideas! Well I wish it was that easy to make a real ebook that you can make that much money with, but it takes some time I guess. Now with this warning – some things that look like spam or are very suspicious can be good, and some are in the middle. I won an Alvin Phang package a while ago in a contest, and it was alright but it seemed a little suspicious too. There are a lot of real spam products out there though, hopefully not too many people will be suckered in!

  61. Nice article. I learned quickly while in sports photography that Photoshop can do wonders. I refused to do so but watched as some photographers would insert a basketball in just the right place. I guess it hits internet marketing as well. Maybe I’ll rent a ferrari, load up a briefcase with a bunch of cut up paper with $20’s on top and show fake PayPal dollars through a YouTube video and make some good money on it.

  62. Yep it’s that serious, and many are scammed. Ever wander why the are always behind their website and don’t have an all exclusive Picture of themselves home, inside out and their family on different occasions…yet they scam you with their MEGA launches..as if cash grows on trees. I’ve been told by a “pre guru” the tricks of the trade and he introduced me to something that, DELIVERS heafty sums for free, you WILL need a website or a Trustworthy mailing list and traffic but you can expect to earn unlimited Huge some by being a Publisher running PPC, CPA, CPC, CPV, CPM offers and more. Here is where you get paid on every visit, signup or sale, or click..on your site
