Blog Goals For June 2008

Whenever you start doing something new, it’s important to set some goals that will boost your motivation. I decided that since I just began my blog, it would be a nice challenge to set goals and try to achieve them.

Because I have no idea what to expect the first month, I have made them quite reasonable and I believe they can be achieved. If I reach any of them before the end of this month I will post the results and set some new ones. Anyway, here is what I’m trying to achieve by the end of this month:

Unique Visitors: 1,500 (Sitemeter predicted 867)
RSS Subscribers: 25
Page Views: 3,000 (Sitemeter predicted 2,509)
New Posts: 35

Wish me luck and don’t be shy in lending me a hand ;-)

Well, I do have a couple of ideas that I’m sure will blow these numbers away, but let’s just wait and see what happens.

  7. Hey Raj,

Good luck with your goals mate. And they are quite reasonable, to be very true. :D

  8. pretty good stats you got there, for one month that pretty amazing.
You got me as a reader … your content is amazing and helpful

  9. I think your goals are just fine ;) However, 35 posts in one month it’s like a lot! You’d have to post everyday and a bit more :P

You have a very good blog here. Keep working on it and your efforts will be rewarded ;)

Although this month I have exams, I will still try my best to reach them. I don’t know why I decided on 35 new posts, but I think I’m going to pass the visitors and subscribers goal

  11. I think you goals are very realistic. You should hit them with ease! Then set bigger next month.

I’m sure that everything will work out according to my master plan

  13. How many subscribers you have now? Target for more subscribers. Do not post more than 30 articles a month or you will run out of quality content.

This week had an average of 4 subscribers. I agree with you about the subscribers and content, so I’ll try working on increasing/decreasing them this month.

  15. Hey Rajaie!

Love the site and the content - I subscribed!

I don’t think you’ll have any problem reaching 25 subscribers - how are you promoting your blog?

    Cheers,
    James Blogger

Thanks James, You also have a great blog :-)

I’m not really using anything special to promote, just leaving some unique comments and participating in forums. I’ll be looking into guest posting these coming weeks.
