A Review Of WebHostingRating.com – Helping You Find the Best Hosts

The following is a paid review.

What is WebHostingRating.com?

Web Hosting Rating is a new host rating site trying to become the biggest searchable webhosting directory on the net. The reviews of webhosts are featured in a nice and easy-to-read format that allows you to automatically find what you’re looking for.

Not only do they provide reviews and features of the best webhosts on the net, but they also have a lot of web hosting tutorials that provide a lot of extensive information to someone just starting out with their first website. They have tons of articles related to cPanel, eCommerce, scripting, and dedicated hosting.

Another thing I really liked about web hosting rating is that they have an special web hosting awards page which features some of the year’s best hosts depending on their services and features. They use awesome icons for the awards and all the hosts are arranged into an easy to read format that will look very soothing to the eyes.

As you arrive onto the front page, you will immediately see the Top 10 Webhosts of the year without the need to click anything else; and I like that.

Here are some of the articles definitely worth reading:

You can also browse the directory of all the webhosts if you would like to find out more about all the webhosts and their advantages and disadvantages.

As for the design, web hosting rating has a very clean and simple design with a pretty sweet logo with not too much to distract you. The site has its own link to us page that provides you with tons of ready-made buttons that allow you to link to the website with extreme ease.

Overall, I would say that web hosting rating is a very good site with tons of potential to becoming the #1 one web hosting rating site on the net.

ZK – Hehe, don’t worry mate, this blog won’t turn into one of those non-stop review blogs.

  3. How did you get into doing paid reviews in the first place? I thought you didn’t like them from your recent tweets?

NewWrldYankee – Actually, I was testing out SponsoredReviews.com a few weeks ago and made this bid on a job to see if it would be accepted. Unfortunately, it was. And I had to do the review to abide by the rules.

But trust me, I will be cutting back on the reviews a bit. Really.

  5. Really I am a bit disappointed not to see any real posts coming by in the last few weeks. :(

  6. Hi Rajaie – Great review. I’ll have to check them out. It sounds like a fascinating site.

  7. Probably Its a growing hosting site. Its useful.I wont deny using it.good review Rajaie

  8. Paid reviews are the bomb…such a great way to make some money and to give advertisers the proper exposure they need for their website/product.
This is a great review and you have done very well

Swastik – Like I said, don’t worry mate, I will start cutting back on the paid reviews and working on some new posts.

    Barbara – Same thoughts here.

Harish – Not a hosting site, but a webhosting rating site ;)

Ryan – The only problem with paid reviews is that they will start annoying your readers if you do them too much—kinda like my case.

  10. Maybe this is the first post I did not fully read (just scanned for the main points) on rajaietalks. I think reviewing a review site itself is not what most readers are eager to read. Looking forward to some real topics rajaietalks is so famous for :)

  11. I’m looking forward to more real-content posts from you Rajaie.

  12. To be fair to Rajaie, the last two reviews have both been sites that I will now use.

I like Let’s Sermo and this Web Hosting one on first inspection looks like a useful site. So great for them, not so good for you I guess if the native readers of rajietalks are crying out for some “proper” blogs.

  13. i have listened that they are paid money for listing the best webhost

  14. Hey Rajaie,

I’m tuned up to see great posts coming up. ;)

    - Swastik -

  15. @ Dfunda…they probably have affiliate programs with all the hosts so to make a bit of cash.

Though don’t worry Rajae We know this blog has potential for great content! so we can abide the odd ‘waffle’ post so you can pay for hosting and running costs

  16. Hmm sorry Rajaie I thought it is a hosting site.

  17. I guess paid reviews are part and parcel of most blogs. At the end the blogger needs to make some money as well right? However, if one over-does, it can be very boring… Any thoughts any body on how many paid reviews per month? I feel, 2 is okay of you have at least 10 other post…

    cheers,
    Ajith

  18. @Donace just sharing my opinion.i too use to believe that but after i came to know they paid for listing best hosts in dp forum :)

  19. WebHostingRating is a pretty nice website that can be very helpful to people searching for a hosting provider. Nice review.
